Terms and conditions

Check in

Check in time is between 4pm and 6pm unless alterative arrangements have been made. On the day of departure, the room is available until 10am.

Booking conditions

We cannot guarantee to hold a provisional reservation longer than 14 days, by which time the booking must be confirmed in writing or e-mail. A deposit is required at time of booking which is equiliavent to £20 per room per night. This can be made by debit/credit card over the telephone or by sending a UK cheque made payable to Borve Guest House. We ask that you provide us with your full name and address and contact telephone number. On receipt of your deposit confirmation will be sent by letter or email.

Cancellation policy

Accepting accommodation by telephone, e-mail or in writing means you have entered into a legally binding contract. In the event of cancellation for whatever reason, we will make every effort to re-let your booking. If the accommodation remains unoccupied, we are entitled to ask for a further payment to compensate us for our loss, as set as follows:

- More than 30 days prior to arrival - initial deposit
- 30-14 days prior to arrival - 50% of contract value
- Less than 14 days prior to arrival - 100% of contract value

For your protection and to fulfil your contract with us, we strongly advise you to take out holiday cancellation insurance to cover any such eventuality.

Dogs

Dogs are not permitted within the guest house.

Car parking

Car parking is free at our guest house. Vehicles left in the car park are left at the owners risk and the guest house cannot take responsibility for any damage caused to vehicles left in the vicinity of the guest house.

Smoking

Smoking is strictly prohibited in all parts of the guest house. It is an offence to do so by law. Should we find any evidence that this rule has been broken, you authorise us to debit your credit or debit card with a cleaning fee of £50.00 and unfortunately you shall be asked to leave and suspended from further visits to the guest house.
